ममता की प्रतीक गौमाता

भारत के प्रमुख आधारशिलाओं में गीता, गंगा, गायत्री आदि के साथ गौ माता को भी प्रमुख रूप से शामिल किया गया है. गाय का कृषि प्रधान भारत में महत्वपूर्ण स्थान है परंतु उससे ज्यादा गरिमामयी स्थान सांस्कृतिक रूप से हिन्दू जनमानस में है. 'गौ मातरम' इस चित्रमाला में गौ माता के पौराणिक, आर्थिक, सामाजिक और वैज्ञानिक पक्ष का विवेचन किया गया है. कत्लखानों में गौवंश की हत्या के विरुद्ध अभियान के लिए इसका निर्माण चित्रकथा के रूप में किया गया था. जिसे बाद में प्रदर्शनी का आकार दे दिया गया.
